Jesus said......
for I was hungred, and ye gave me meat
I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink
I was a stranger, and ye took me in
naked, and ye clothed me
I was sick, and ye visited me

I was in prison, and ye came unto me

.....Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

January Thoughts

January..........things have settled down after the Christmas holiday. For many, the New Year comes with bitter cold temperatures and blustery weather.
::::
Is there someone in your neighborhood that would appreciate some help with putting their holiday decorations back in storage?
::::
Is there a homeless shelter where you could donate gloves or socks?
::::
Or, perhaps even donate a pot of soup one evening?
::::
Comment below with your ideas on how to spread the love of Jesus Christ in the New Year.

Participate in the Shoebox Ministry this Christmas

No, I don't have my Christmas shopping done.
~
As you will notice, these boxes are empty!
~
For the past several years I have saved my family's empty shoeboxes until November when we join a local group to wrap and fill these boxes with all sorts of goodies for boys and girls. New small toy items, candy, toiletries, crayons, etc. are donated and purchased throughout the year in preparation for this shoe box ministry. The assembly line fashioned get together is great fun with high energy, good conversation and lots of hustle and bustle!

Be a Good Neighbor by Raking Leaves

Today is definitely a FALL DAY with Chilly temperatures in the 50s and Raining!

Soon, all of the beautiful colors will have fallen away from the trees.
Is there someone you could show a good neighbor kindness to by raking the leaves in their lawn?

.....

This is something you could do by yourself, OR, make it a group project! "Many hands make light work", as my grandmother used to say (a John Heywood quote).

.....

Be sure to stop back and tell us how you acted as a good neighbor this season.

Blessings
